Rush House is a charity that provides supported accommodation for young people aged 16-25 who are homeless, inappropriately accommodated or at risk. We work across the Rotherham area supporting young people to have safe, settled lives and to achieve their full potential through the services that we provide, which are;
Accommodation Services and Tenancy Support: We provide a range of accommodation, that cover varying levels of independent living skills, to meet the needs of the young people accessing our service, we achieve this through three different accommodation services and also tenancy support;
• Emergency Homeless Accommodation
• Bedsit Accommodation
• Supported Housing
We are the provider for the Rotherham area offering this free local service to help young people aged 18-24, who are experiencing difficulties and barriers to work and learning, gain the skills and confidence to impress local employers and secure employment. However, should the young people have their own business ideas, through partnership work; we can help to support this to become their own social enterprise.
This team works in partnership with other agencies and professionals to provide group sessions or 1-1 support with issues such as; health, developing life skills, personal safety, and money management. It also gives young people access to ICT facilities, and a variety of sport and recreational activities.
